Bass and blues still roaming the local beaches. Clams, bunker and mullet are the popular choice for the bait and waiters. Swimmers and metals are the choice for those moving. The fluke bite off the surf remains good with bucktails tipped with Gulp and a teaser. Starting to hear that the fluke bite is picking up outside the inlets. Crabbing is starting to get good off the local docks and piers.

The fluke bite is picking up at the inlets and the back bay from the 40 bouy and South. Bass, blues and fluke off the local beaches. Crabbing is getting better by the day.

There was a pick of bass, blues and fluke off the surf yesterday. Heard of a decent fluke bite in the Manasquan. Crag Winton picked up his limit in less than an hour with bucktails tipped with Gulp and a teaser. We have fresh bunker, chowder clams in the shell as well as salted, live eels and killies.

The fluke bite off the surf is picking up and bucktails with Gulp and a "teaser" is working for those targeting them. Crabbing in the back bay and the river is picking up as well. We have fresh bunker, chowder clams in the shell, live eels, bloodworms and plenty of killies in stock. Happy fathers day to all the dads out there.
